This album falls under the mallsoft subgenre of vaporwave, which is one of my personal favorites. "슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open" simulates a hazy trip through the phantasmic kaleidoscope of one's childhood strolling up and down the isles of a local supermarket. This album is so well curated and produced, it's almost impossible not to enjoy.
some people find mallsoft to be boring, or "not real music". and not to sound pretentious but it's certainly an acquired taste. If mallsoft is something you're into, or if you're wanting to try out some new music, I'd recommend this album.
