A PBS childhood nightmare scape of 80's and 90's television programming. this Bandcamp album released on the 6th of October, 2019, features distorted and echoey samples from Sesame Street, Arthur, Reading Rainbow, Dragon Tales, and Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood that all come flooding in, dressed in a decaying and warped ensemble. This album is a very dark, creative way of taking the memories of sitting in front of the TV and bending it at the artist's whim, with each track leaving an increasingly distant memory.   these songs are very interesting and heavily slowed down or distorted, leaving behind a deep-toned, hazy sound which, although is very common among this type of music, is done in a unique way. And I think that's what makes this odd collection, a wonder of its own.  My personal favorite track is "A+ 96'".  This album floats around in the signalwave subgenre of vaporwave, and here's the link if you'd like to give it a listen, I think you shoul
daily update #3 March 11, 2021 today was quite good. I had world history today. I've always enjoyed that class. Because it's women's history month we've been learning women's history too. today we learned about a woman named Amanda Blackhorse. I also went to the fabric store and bought some tulle for a project I've been working on. For lunch, I had a salad with chicken :) ALSO ALSO- I've noticed I've been getting more views on this blog! and to anyone reading, thank you so much! I'm seriously just some random kid on the internet, so even a few people reading means a lot to me! as someone with ADHD, I have a lot of thoughts constantly racing through my head and it helps tremendously to type them out and\or share them with others. so again, thank you for listening whoever you are haha much love, rowan <3

The 2014 Bandcamp album titled " 슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open" Is a phenomenal collection of songs released by the music artist "groceries".  This album falls under the mallsoft subgenre of vaporwave, which is one of my personal favorites. " 슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open"  simulates a hazy trip through the phantasmic kaleidoscope of one's childhood strolling up and down the isles of a local supermarket. This album is so well curated and produced, it's almost impossible not to enjoy.  some people find mallsoft to be boring, or "not real music". and not to sound pretentious but it's certainly an acquired taste.  If mallsoft is something you're into, or if you're wanting to try out some new music, I'd recommend this album. It's perfect background music, but it's also nice to analyze and really listen to. here's the link if you'd like to check out the artist or listen to a few songs:  슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open and as always, much lov

daily update!                                                                                                                            march 9th 2021 a strange woman came to my door today. asking if I or my mother were able to speak with her, I declined due to the fact that I have classes all day and my mother works 9-5 spending most of her time on long zoom calls. this woman then asked me if I knew why she was there, although I claimed I did... I very much did not. She then handed me an otherwise blank card with her number on it written in black ballpoint pen, asked that I call her, and then left. I did not tell my mother of this incident because for some reason I do not trust this woman and her potential motives for abruptly appearing at my doorstep at 8 in the goddamn morning.      anywho today I made homemade milk tea with boba. For lunch, I had a turkey BLT from my local Panera Bread. highlight of the day: My science teacher let us out of "class" early. which is ver
